Robert grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and is the son of parents who divorced when he was 8 years old. In Robert’s words, it was a bit of a dysfunctional household. Like Bill, Robert was always an athlete. He was able to go all the way through school with the same classmates, eventually marrying his 3rd grade sweetheart Leigh in 1979. Leigh passed away in 2005 from breast cancer. They had 3 children together. In 2007, Robert remarried, this time to Sandy and picked up two more children, along with his first grand daughter.
Bill started his professional career at West Point, graduating as an army Lieutenant and serving a couple of tours in Korea. Bill also participated in world class, Olympic-level cycling. He spent about 8 years in corporate America but has always been an entrepreneur at heart. Bill founded The Marena Group, specializing in medical devices and performance apparel. Bill sold the company in 2012. He is married to Donna, who he met in high school. They live in Jackson, Wyoming. Bill has two grown children and a son-in-law.
